Hey guys, thanks a ton for so many guesses! I was going to have 3 prizes total for the whole contest between this Site & F/B but there was so much participation here I decided to give you folks your own! (grin) So there are 3 Winners here too! If you want to see the Face Book Winners head over there & see their winning scores! http://www.facebook.com/pages/ElkNut-Outdoor-Productions/167018863327658

The Winners here were very close to the actual reading after several shots through the Chrono! The Hoyt AM-32 @ 27 1/2" draw 65# 380grn arrow was 282.9

  1st-Crunchy 283.6

  2nd-THINK_N_ELK 284.5

  3rd-Sniper Dan Wa 281.2

Guys email me at elknut@elknut.com & let me know who you are here & if you want either the ElkNuts PlayBook or the Sounds By The Elk CD --  Thank you all for being good sports!

I think at times guys just assume bows are shooting a particular speed with a 400grn arrow per say! I also shot a 405grn arrow at 275 & a 430grn arrow at 264. All in all that's not bad for 65# and a 27 1/2" draw. This Hoyt is a very smooth shooter! These are light arrows but hit hard with heavy FOC! Punishing penetration! (grin) Thanks everyone!

Dang I was 281 sniper dan snipede me by .2 you guys were smart to use my guess as a baseline LOL. congrats to the victors ! Elk Nut you made a good point by how much those few add grains slowed it down . I believe with hunting bows they should rate them with six grains per inch insted of ibo. Those Hoyts are sweet bows !.
