Gmail deleted my shipping emails and I couldn't even tell you what online store I bought it from but, I do remember the price being about $45.  There is definitely NO mention of micro on the packaging anywhere and knowing that I am a certified cheap *censored* (evidenced by my making of my own broadhead targets in my ER trip thread) I know I would have never paid that much for the Micro when they offered a regular model.

I have the same one, I love it, te only problem is that if you put your arrow in and you're not carefull it can fall over to the side of the rest and get stuck whent you draw. yyou have to let off and re set your arrow. Never had a problem with it in the field last year just in target practice.
I love this rest, and the price is good

I think the micro probably has click adjustment screws rather than just loosen and push types.  Cabelas has them on sale right now for 49.99 and free shipping over $49 purchase.

I think this is correct.   :yeah:  can't wait to get one installed

Yeah I really don't understand how that is possible. I would love for you to write more details on how it happened. I can provide feedback to the company to work on any issues, but I don't see how it is possible. Even if you are throwing the bow around to try to draw it back I don't see How it could pop out of the rest in you draw cycle.

when you set the arrow down and begin to draw back the whole rest starts turn to lock the arrow in, at this point the arrow can move over to the right (i'm right handed) and get caught in the rest while its turning. you can combat this by making a groove out to moleskin to help keep the arrow steady. trust me its a problem, but its a very small problem and does not make me want to change.

That is you problem right there. You are supposed to lock the rest into shooting postion before you draw back. Drop your arrow in and lock the rest into the fire postion with the jaws closed before you even try to draw back. That is the way the rest was made to shoot. If you are trying to drop the arrow on the shelf then draw and catch the arrow you will have problems.

I was told it was made to do both ways, when I bought it it had a small sticky pad thing that I had put on but it had fell off. I just resorted to using it like you are saying to just to get away from the arrow moving and it works just fine. so You are probably right...

Got it now.  Probably could work both ways but, why buy a containment rest that falls away if you're only going to contain when you draw?  A regular fall away would probably work for that.

Since I hunt with one nocked, I need the containment so I lock the arrow in before drawing back so I can move with one nocked.  As you read in the review, my fletches kept hitting the pad so I 86'd that.  I just figured the pad was to stop the arrow from clanking on the shelf.

You hunt with an arrow nocked? that seems dangerous, I'm afraid of falling on it. I figure its a lot safer to just nock when I start getting close to an animal or I'm in stalking mode. but thats just me.

There's benifits to both approaches.  There's a whole thread about it somewhere around here

I nock an arrow any were I go hunting yes broad heads are dangerous.  I think it makes me aware of my very expensive equipment even more.  I hold it up and out if I slip, away from the ground and brush.  My sight never gets bumped with one nocked.

Got mine yesterday.  Put it on this morning...  OMG, this thing is great!  Easy to mount and set up.  I used a clamp rather than serving it in, for now anyways.

Don't waste your money on the micro one, plenty easy to make fine adjustments without the micro feature.  Cabaelas has these on sale for $49.99 with free shipping right now.
