I should start at 30 this year and hold low for 20 shots.  It's how I was told to do it but I never would have shot at seventy yards on game.  I would always be within 20 yards before I saw them anyways.

It's hitting the drop away?!?!?!!  How do I tune it or can I? I thought it was hitting the thicker pad i put on it.  I glued a new pad on it real good and it still hits ... sounds brutal!  How do I tune the drop away?

Try tightening your string up just a touch.  Mine was doing the same thing, then, it wasn't.  If you are served in, you can loosen the screw on the rest and pull the string through just a touch.

I lubed it.  Seems to drop fine maybe some foot powder got in the mechanics of it.  I glued the new pad on nice and tight.  If I'm not at FULL draw it hits to so your probably right about that I can't shorten it so I'll pull the service through if I find it hittin again.  Thanks

Really good review. Thank you.

This is a late reply. Time in the field will be a truer test, however I bought one of these for my bow last fall. During the winter I threw it in the snow when I walked down to retrieve my arrows. It was not super cold out but I buried it for a few minutes. I picked up the bow, shook out the excess snow and it shot fine. I see the potential for freezing up in really harsh conditions.

It performs as advertised IMO. And I did some moving about with the arrow captured and it retained it well.

I agree with the use of mole skin to substitute for the factory felt.

Cheers

QAD!!

I have one I'll sell ya!  Even give you a discount off new price.  This rest has the QAD beat for containment and actually gets out of the way of my arrows.

BTW, this thread wasn't a "what do you like best" one....   :dunno:
