Someone spent the day shooting through a fence?
Hah....are they really throwing an egg though? Really good stuff, Doug.

Thanks guys.   Lil bone and I hit the road to get out of the house.  I haven't been feeling well, so spent the weekend moping around the house.   I didn't take any fishing gear.  We tossed in the snowshoes in case we wanted to hike up north, but we didn't get that far.   I was inspired by Quads pics the other day.  Its something I had thought about but was not really forefront in my mind.    YES, that stupid fence.   How annoying.  That place has sure changed since I was there last.   More Discover pass action as well.   Man, whoever got the printing contract for those signs must have made a mint.  Its good to see some size back in the fish.   That was littlest.  Most of the bigs were hunkered down.  I tried to get some fighting shots as well.   I'll see and post a few maybe later.

Hey Bone
That fish in pic 4 has a growth on his lip, One of my shots had the same thing. Same fish or some lip fungus they aint identified yet ( pardon me but that is a line from Christmas Vacation)?

Interesting Quad.   I assumed it was a scar from where it had been hooked before.   It was from the same pool but at least a week later.  I'm sure its a different fish.    hmmmmmmmmm

I need a fish biologist to chime in I guess.   Hornseeker might know something, he works with a lot of fish.

I'd say different fish, yours looks to be a bit bigger in the shoulders.

Yeah, looks like a different fish. My guess would be that its an abcess or possible fungal growth as a result of an infection from a hook removal or even from a hook that broke off and was in the fish until it eroded away.... I've seen similar on fish in highly fished areas, like the Bighorn or Madison River her in MT.

Great pics!!
