That fish in pic 4 has a growth on his lip, One of my shots had the same thing. Same fish or some lip fungus they aint identified yet ( pardon me but that is a line from Christmas Vacation)?

Interesting Quad.   I assumed it was a scar from where it had been hooked before.   It was from the same pool but at least a week later.  I'm sure its a different fish.    hmmmmmmmmm

I need a fish biologist to chime in I guess.   Hornseeker might know something, he works with a lot of fish.

I'd say different fish, yours looks to be a bit bigger in the shoulders.

Yeah, looks like a different fish. My guess would be that its an abcess or possible fungal growth as a result of an infection from a hook removal or even from a hook that broke off and was in the fish until it eroded away.... I've seen similar on fish in highly fished areas, like the Bighorn or Madison River her in MT.
