English Springer pup on my trap line with me
« on: March 26, 2012, 12:11:21 AM »
I was out pulling the rest of my line today because it closes the end of the month and I wont have time to do it next weekend so I grabbed my camera and took along Winter, our 4 month old English Springer pup. We have a 2 yr old male that is out being used as a stud this week ($800 ) so she is a little lonely. But once I got her into the woods she forgot all about it and started having fun!

If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Nice Lookin pup. Hope she didn't get too far out in front of you during that outing.

All my gear was is in the water except one set. I leashed her until that point. She never got wet, still a little cold for her. She follwed me on the stream bank when I was out in the stream channel  ;)

She did find a dead duck  :bash:

Nice photos.. and great looking dog. :) Looks like a good day... you catch anything?
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

No, I had checked just a couple days earlier and got a nice otter. This was just my last day I could get out before season closed. Its been nice up here for the last week the freezing mark every day! We are finally melting.
