Barska binos.......really?
« on: March 26, 2012, 08:26:32 AM »
Was reading an article about Obama in South Korea, and noticed that he was looking through a pair of Barska binos. To me it's sad that when the President needed a pair of binos, someone handed him those.

I guess that shows what someone thinks of him.   :chuckle:

I know I wouldn't hand him my Leicas or my Swarovskis (if I owned any).

Heck I wouldn't even loan him the Vortex or Pentax binos I do own.

:yeah:  Exactly, I wouldn't hand him my Leicas either, but I can't beleive that when the President is coming through, that someone doesn't have a better pair of binos available.

Maybe those are the disposable binos they keep around for occasions like this.  I mean, would you really want to keep anything that he touched anyway? :dunno:

What would be funny is to read a small label "MADE IN NORTH KOREA."  :chuckle:

I'd love to see the next pic with some black rings around his eyes from some practical joking placing ink on the eyecups. :chuckle:

I'd guess he's looking for his teleprompter.  His choice of optics is about on par with everyhthing else about him.

I wonder if someone painted the eyecups white instead of black; end up looking like the buffoon he really is!

I tend to wonder if BO's defense cuts have reduced the military to buying Barska's.  What in the world is a binocular like that doing on the lines anyway?  :dunno:

He probably borrowed those from Joe Biden or the great white hunter "John Kerry".

Oh...Nope...I remember now...It's George Bush's fault.  Yeah, that's it!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
