Got a new bow
« on: April 15, 2012, 09:53:47 AM »
I got a bow yesterday. Its a G5 quest. I went to a buddys house yesterday to shoot and at 20 yards I split one of my arrows with another. I thought Mythbusters said it could not be done. I know It probably happens a lot, but I was surprised because I have not shot a bow in 15 years. And man the gear sure has changed in the last 15 years. Elk season can not get here fast enough.
WDWF needs to get a clue before it's to late!!!

Thats always awsome when that happens. Me and the old man have our robin hoods on the wall in his den with all the other trophys!
Remember that buck is climbing that Mt. every day!

I just purchased a Primal too.  I shot a bunch of different bows when shopping.  The Quest Primal was the best value IMHO.
Robin Hoodin and arrow is certainly not impossibe.  Seen it done with my own eyes.  Just very difficult to reproduce the results.  Even with a bow shooting machine that eliminates all variables, it takes a good number of shots to reproduce the results at a distance of 20 yds.

Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.
