UN Gun Ban: Rand Paul e-mail alerts
« on: March 28, 2012, 12:50:36 PM »
Anyone else getting these e-mail alerts from Rand Paul stating Hillary has committed to the NATO Small Arms Treaty ???  I just wonder if these are scare tactics to raise monies, or is there some truth to it.  If she has committed to this for the current administration, we are in serious trouble.....

It's true, Hillary is negotitating a small arms treaty for the US with the United Nations. I just signed, you can sign without making a contribution, but they need signatures to influence the senate to vote AGAINST ratification. Use this link:

It doesn't mean no one's doing anything about it, just that they haven't commented.

With Hillarys help, they can......The Clintons and Obamas are a huge factor  in making this happen.  They are workin overtime on this, hoping no one will notice.

I didn't think the U.N. could override the Constitution.

According to the UN it can. It expects its members to stick by treaties they sign. I can't even imagine that the President didn't think there'd be backlash from this.

According to our own constitution it can. Article II, Sec. 2. Ratification must be approved by the Senate by a two thirds majority. Framers wanted to overcome partisan majority in order to trample the right of the people/states.

50 US Senators have already signed a letter to theState Department informing her thighness that the ratification is DOA (dead on.arrival). I read the letter and dont remember seeing either Maria Cantvotewell or Patty Smurfy's name in there. This is the.importance of voting, putting up yard signs, and making contributions of time or treasure, folks. I don exactly miss home when I think about how WA rejected Mike McGavick and Dino Rossi for these two.

I've been getting updates on this for a while, it's a mess. There are some parts I don't mind, keeping military weapons away from the types of people that use child soldiers, tyrants that invalidate elections...

Just keep it out of my Country.
