Damn...I wish I would have remembered to fix that lower jaw.  :bash: But I did manage to get a couple pm's..lol

So here is the story.

A few weeks ago my manager, who lives near the Summit Lake store, was riding his quad in the hills near there. He saw this bear from about 500 yards and pulled out his spotting scope. He thought it was odd that it didn't move so he rode closer. It still wouldn't move so he road up to it and noticed it was stuffed. A week later he went back and took this one pic. He said that the lower jaw had been cut and forced open. His neighbor told him that another neighbor had a stuffed bear on or near his property.
This in the Capitol Forest but in the Satsop unit.

I have been sitting on this pic for a couple weeks in hopes of playing a prank and then I got sloppy. :(

There is only one pic. See original below. I just manipulated it a bit to make it look like there were a couple, but I forgot to thin out the lip.

Oh yea, !@#$ stood for FAKE.

I ran into "robo-bear" up the suiattle near darrington a couple years ago.
I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw this pic.  :chuckle:
I left it better than I found it...did you?
I hunt animals because veggies are too easy to stalk.

I wonder what they were trying to accomplish by stickin that thing out there?!  Trying to get some hunters to shoot at it before season?!  :dunno:  Or is it near a major highway that will get people to shoot from it? Just some thoughts??

Nope. It is up in the hills and I really don't think quads are supposed to be there. I figure it was a joke.
Almost did that with one of mine a few years back.

I did it with a coyote mount that too much dog in him to look good.  It makes an excellent decoy, and now a three D target.  Taught my wife how to shoot the 25 with it.
