Believe it or not, I've never taken a bear. Seen lots of them over the course of my hunting years and some big-uns too, but generally they were on distant hillsides while I was Bow hunting elk. I've walked up on 3 small ones before and I think they scared me as much as I scared them but this year I plan on taking one, anyone know a honey hole they want to share  :chuckle:.

question in the poll:   First legal Blacky...... what would not be a Legal Blacky?

Second tags for Trophy... many of you will be lucky to see a bear at all, take the shot if you get one or you will be saying the same thing next year..... :chuckle:
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

Momma with cubs is a no no (which was what I was referring to). Although technically, the regs read, "Hunters are urged not to shoot a sow with cub"...I guess technically it isnt illegal, but who would want to do that on purpose?  :hunt2:
