Ross,
I have a Sport Dog brand.  It works fair at best.  It was the mid-grade one for about $200.00.  It claims to have a 500 yard range, I have never been able to get it to work past 100 yards.

My new one will be a Tri-Tronics or Innotek.

Call Tri-Tronics. My friend just got her TT Pro 100 replaced for $120 when it took a dump.

Call the tri tronics outfit IMO,they will knock off 30% of a new system, they have a buy back program and you don't need to have a whole system to get the 30%.I lost a transmitter for my sport 50,and got the replace deal on a new collar.Sportdog is nothing more than a new name for Innotek,I had one of those also a long time ago and had nothing but problems with it,the customer service was horrible and the product was junk................hence it got the nickname "innojunk".I'd stick with what works and works well tri tronics or dogtra.

Before you make deal call the Collar Clinic. They will trade for your old, or refurbish it and anything you buy and do no like they will take back for something else.
Check them out. You will love them.

I agree with the Collar Clinic comment they are super folks.

I use a Dogtra 2500 TB and it is great. It crapped out once and I sent the whole kit in (after 2 years) and they fixed it right up and cleaned it. The transmitter had gone bad so it was only effective to about 75 yards.

Collar clinic is now about 20-30% more expensive than dealing directly with Tri-Tronics on replacements.
