Reminder...Bear hunters
« on: July 31, 2008, 06:05:26 AM »
Take lots of pics of everything.
Field photos.
Bear sign.
Bear food such as berries, stumps, carcasses.
If you are successfull make sure to take photos of the stomach contents. At the very least open up the stomach to report what they are eating.

Oh yea, and have fun.

You certainly may. Electronic calls are legal unless they emit blackberry scent..... :chuckle:

Leaving for my Colville area property in about 6 hours!  I am so ready.  Now if I can just get one in bow range!
Going to start with my bow, and switch later in the season, though if I see a worthy bear, I may use the rifle right away!

Should be a good weekend, the temps will be in the mid 70s for the high and the morning lows in the upper 40s.  Good luck everyone!!

So, as far as electronic calls go, I am reading the regs as if they are only illegal if you are hunting: Deer, Turkey, or Waterfowl.  Is that correct?  Thanks

Anybody want to babysit a newborn this weekend?  I won't be getting out for a couple of weeks yet, so good luck to all those that will be there opening morning.  Be safe, drive safe.
