You should be able to do it online here http://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/trapping/

WCO reports are a little more difficult. There is no online reporting for them but you can fill in the attached electronic form and e-mail to SeanCarrell@dfw.wa.gov
Put WCO report in the subject line.
Both are due by April 20

 Taken from the trapper report..............
All licensed trappers are required to complete and submit this form as soon as their trapping activities are completed or postmarked no later than April 10. Responses are used for management purposes and accurate information is necessary to manage our state's furbearers.
WAC 232-12-134. Report required of licensed trappers. It is unlawful for any licensed trapper to fail to complete and submit a Trapper's Report to the Department of Fish and Wildlife on the form supplied by the department on or before April 10 each year.(not the 20th)Bruce must have had a senior moment.

Copied this off the Washington Legislative web site
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/wac/default.aspx?cite=232-12-134

232-12-134
Report required of licensed trappers.
All trappers purchasing a trapping license must report their trapping activity, regardless of trapping success or whether they trapped or not.

     (1) Trappers must report trapping activity by April 20.
     (2) Reports must be made using the department's designated Trapper's Report of Catch form or internet trapper reporting system.

     (3) If a trapper chooses to report using the Trapper's Report of Catch form, it is the responsibility of the licensed trapper to obtain a form and ensure the form is received by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, 600 Capitol Way North, Olympia, Washington 98501-1091.

     (4) Any trapper not reporting by April 20 will be in noncompliance of reporting requirements.     (5) False reports will be considered the same as noncompliance.

     (6) Failure to report trapping activity is an infraction, punishable under RCW 77.15.160.

Somebodies wrong but I think it is WDFW. Better safe then sorry. Get it in by the 10th I guess.
I think I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what they say.

I couldn't seem to get anybody today at WDFW but I think I figured out what happened.
The trapping regs come out in three year packages. Back when the last three year package came out the law was the trapping report was due on April 10. A year later we as in George Brady and I met with them and made a pitch to change the law. At that time if you forgot and missed the deadline you could not get a trapping license the next year. That is what we wanted changed but at the same time we asked for an extra 10 days to send in the report of catch.
They went along with it and changed the law but they failed to update the trapping regulations that are posted electronically and the printed version.
We start another three year package this coming year so I would expect it to be updated then.

So the law in the last post should be in the next trapping regulations phamplet.

I tried to use the on-line method but it didn't recognize my old five digit license number. I called Oly and they gave me my new trapping license number, it was about twelve digits long (maybe longer).  They must be expecting a big increase in the number of trappers in this state.  Leave it up to Washington to re-invent the wheel every three years or so.
After putting in the new number it did seem to work o.k. though.

Just got off the phone with F&W.
They were hoping that the new online reporting would recognize the old numbers, but it it set up through the WILD program and must have a document number which is essentially a "reciept" number from your license.

She did not know of the 10 day extention (to the 20th) but did say that they are not going to penalize anyone who could not report online. They do ask that if you can't report online to send in by mail without penalty.

I quit using the online trappers report of catch when they "lost" my report three (3) years in a row. Every year it was in the same place, in the receiving office upstairs in the "in" basket just was never forwarded to the correct office. Now just mail it in.
