This is the pic of the second backstop we will be silent auctioning. The bails are currently strapped together tighter, one of the improvements we just made.

Taking the day off of work to help set up tomorrow... Should be a great day for shooting. A few sprinkles on Sat and overcast. Just enough to justify doing something other than yard work!  :chuckle:

The course is all set up, we are having ribs and oysters for lunch tomorrow!

If you want to sell you used equipment, there will be a used equipment table set up, with 10% of the sale price going to the 4-H shooting club that we sponsor. The silent auction bids will close out on Sunday, so if you are bidding and only shooting on Saturday please make sure to include your phone number on the bid sheet!

The forecast is scattered showers on Saturday morning, with it clearing up later in the day and overcast on Sunday.

Thank you For everyone that showed up!  :tup: We had 94 shooters on Saturday and 48 on Sunday. Our 4H shooting club had a camp out and today was an awesome shooting day. We had 6 of our new rhineheart targets. A full size Moose, Buffalo, and Standing elk, plus we had 2 new whitetail and a mule deer. The ribs and Oysters were great.  I personally did fairly well with the moving targets. The flying pig and the running coyote. I only gave one arrow up the archery gods on the flying pig and managed to sink an arrow each day into the coyote. All our silent auctions sold, except we still have a few broad head targets left, that will likely find a home soon.

A Special Thanks to Gary at Riverside and Roger at Wilderness for all their support this year by supplying us with Door prizes. We are truly a lucky club to have the support of 2 great pro shops.  :tup:

Yes, and boy was that a big Billy, sure would like to find one like him!  My wife and I both got 10's on him but we cheated and used a rangefinder!

The real question is how did you do on the moose? LOTS of people shot low on that one.  :chuckle:

Heard it was a great shoot, wish I could havemade it, but had my limbs come apart on me earlier this week... so waiting for my new ones to get here.....  :bash:

I took two arrows at the moose, If i remember rite it was around 70ish yards, hit high on both about 1/2 apart for an 8....  Those targets sure pull easy as well and the arrows holes just dissapear... we shall se how they hold up.  The antlers are fairly floppy on them thou.
