Put a 24 hour watch on that area at that time of year and fine the interlopers $10,000 at a pop, to pay for the gaurd. problem solved and right quick and easy to. Give a guy a job.

It sucks that a only a few people will ruin shed hunting for the most of us doing it right. The one thing that i don't agree with is the part where the articles say that shed hunters push animals to try to get the antlers to fall off. If i'm in an area watching bulls that are still packing i don't want to push them out of that area before they drop! But maybe i'm stupid-  :twocents:

Wasnt that long ago that shed hunters were lassoing elk in YNP off of snowmobiles and then hacksawing the antlers off. Lots of bulls died due to the stress of that.

Wonder why WDFW doesn't do like Montana and plant tracking devices in some shed antlers. :dunno:

I don't know if you guys ever watch Wardens on the Outdoor Channel but they did that and it was pretty awesome. Great way to catch people breaking the rules and no way they can fight it!

I saw that, and they also used trail cameras, with antlers they put out for "bait."
