I am all over it!
I'd just like to remind everybody that it's about the hunting, not just the killing. In other words, it's about the total experience, the sport itself and the challenge involved. Bowhunting, done right, is a justifiable and honorable pursuit. Done for the wrong reasons, simply chalking up kills and seeking personal glory, it's taking away rather than giving back to a principled way of life that has to be experienced to be understood. What time does the shoot start on Saturday? I have never been to one and would definitely be interested in going. Also what kind of range are we looking at shooting?

It starts at like noon on Friday and you can shoot as long as its light out fri and sat. Ends at noon on Sunday. It's a blast. Typical ranges are 20 to 30 yards. 45 targets. Definately recommend it

I'll be driving a white 89 F 250, pulling a horse trailer and may be bringing a mule for someone coming from Vancover to test ride.  I'll be there around noonish on Friday.

Did ya intentionally not tell him about the rocks?  :chuckle:

The goal is to have the courses ready to shoot by sunrise on Friday...depends on how much help shows up Thursday...

The Rock Shoot is what has been dubbed a "Shoot until your arm falls off" kind of shoot. No start and stop times. Just freely go shoot as many rounds as your shoulder can handle...or until you've busted all your arrows. No problem with shooting from behind or in front of the shooting stake either, just so you are in the same line so that arrows end up where they are supposed to if you should happen to miss the foam.

Jake doesn't like to talk about the rocks... he has a few dozen arrows that are now toothpicks....
:-) Mine I salvaged into chopsticks.

. Does anyone know if the food vendor will be there this year? I remember some good burgers and coffee.
