Im looking at buying a used sig p229 and the guy says he paid $1100 for it when he bought it new and is asking $900 for it,
is that a good price?

I quick survey of gunbroker....870 and up is what I found
that said sigs are good and they seem to hold their value pretty well....

I've owned 2 P229's and $900 is about right, depending on wear.

Sorry for the ugly links but do some quick Google searching, Gunbroker is the place to go if you want to find out just how bat*censored* crazy people are with HIGH prices. You can find good deals there but they are few and far between.
As long as you are looking at used guns, here is a decent price on a 229 in 40.

thanks guys
I just didnt want to get buyers remorse, I shot it and loved it.
I am actually buying it for my future wife, I have had her shoot a long list of semi auto pistols and this one is by far the one that fit her hands the best and shot the best groups with.
