Wingmaster 20g weight
« on: May 29, 2012, 08:52:45 AM »
Does anyone know what the weight of a 1980 era Remington 870 Wingmaster 20g would be?

Are these true 20g guns or are they just a 20g barrel on a 12g frame?

I believe they had the standard 870 and then the 870-LT (light). The standard 870 in 20 gauge was on the same frame as the 12 gauge. I have a 1100-LT 20 gauge from about 1979. I think it's only about 6 1/2 lbs. The 870 should be about the same, maybe slightly lighter.
