I'm headed out at 300am tomorrow morning so I can be the at light. Talked with some nabores and the said the is 10 to 12 gobblers around the property. The best part is that I have permission to hunt everything around. Good luck everyone

It sure is, but i've yet to locate any birds in the area i hunt and wanted to do some last minute recon. Also it's the first year the wife is coming with me and she loves to camp.. Might as well make a long weekend out of it in the woods.

Good luck -
Leaving 5am Saturday and will be all setup and at landowners by about 2pm for scouting the 2100 acres, and singing some night-night lullabies to the thunder chickens. It's been too long of wait ...

Good Luck to all wherever you might be hunting Opening Week. I will be heading out middle of next week to hunt the second weekend.

Good luck and be safe. Bring home some good (expensive) meat and a few pictures to post.
