« on: April 12, 2012, 08:15:03 PM »
K obviously pretty much everyone that put in for it got drawn. So usually I buy the elk deer bear cougar combo. So now do i just buy elk bear cougar and then the deer multi season?

Buy them all Deer as well and buy the multi permit at the same time and it won't make you choose a type of weapon.  The multi deer tag is 182.00 and the deer liscenes is 43.00.  Make sense?

Multi-season is a permit, not a tag.  You still need a tag to attach to the animal.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

You dont want to buy the deer tag. The MS permit tag is all you need. If you buy the reg deer transport tag, well good luck getting reimbursed. If you buy the MS first then the system wont even let you select the deer transport tag. You are allowed however to still put in for a special draw permit, but you tag your animal with the MS tag.

Either way you have to pay for a deer "license." The license comes with a "free" tag. So you can go ahead and purchase the same as what you always do- the deer, elk, bear, and cougar combination license. Pay the extra $182 for the multi-season permit and you will get a tag that says "multi-season on it, instead of modern firearm, archery, or muzzleloader. For those who already have a weapon specific tag, in order to buy the multi-season tag you will be reqiried to turn in your other tag first.

It appears that you are asking if you can buy 1 special app for each weapon giving you 3 apps for each category. I think that's wrong if that's what you mean, I believe you still get one app with 4 selections of which you can switch up between rifle, ML and archery. Oh crap now I'm all confussed.  :o

That's correct in that you can only buy one application (per category) but you have to remember that the Quality applications now only allow two choices, not four.

So another question.  I drew a multi deer tag and I only want to put in for rifle permits.  I am poor and already spent 120 on combo.  Can I go get my tag for modern (i had them not print it yet) and put in for permits before the 18th for rifle only, turn in tag and go get my multi before the deadline??? I'm just hard pressed for the 180 right this moment and can't miss another year of points or good hunt opportunitys.

Thats exactly what I did.  If I dont draw the permit, I'll go get my multi...
