I can't wait to get off work today. I have a dark nasty overgrown hole I'm going to sit in till something comes in for me to shoot. Yuk that sounds kinda nasty!  Let me reword that. I know of a spot that is over grown, dark and next to a creek. It is kinda hard to get into without making a lot of noise. I saw some new peels in there the other day, so today I want to sneak in there after work and sit till dark with the hopes that the tree peeler will show himself so I can shoot him. Yes that sounds a lot better.
D-Rock, I'm shooting 139g Hornady SST's.
Woodman, nice vid. I hope to see something like that in person tonight.  That looks similar to the spot I'm going to.

Yes it is Machias, my first spring bear. I shot one in the fall 2 years ago. So far that's my only one. It's a different feeling walking up on a dead bear than a deer. I had a little bit more anxiety. I can't wait to feel that again.

I just picked up a box of those for myself ripper how do they shoot for you?

Really good, after I bought them someone told me that they had accuracy problems with them. I find them to be nail drivers.

Ridder, I hope you don't mind. I have a question for calling black bear on wet side.
Advise on whether or not a white tail fawn in distress would work. I have been using raccoon in distress,
And called in bobcat both times I tried it. I am walking monro unit soon. And going to start calling before dark. Any impute? Thanks.
