I was shed hunting with my dog today and saw a bear on a stump in a swamp today. It was a good sized adult bear. I really have not seen any sign so far and was pleasantly surprised when I saw it. About the same time that I saw it, it saw me and took off in quite a hurry for the thick brush. I tried to get a picture before it disappeared but only got a picture of brush by the time I got my camera ready. I still am very pleased and expect to see many more and get my share of photographs.
