Boneaddict's Amboyna Elk Call
« on: April 15, 2012, 07:13:17 PM »
Here is a fancy call I did up for Boneaddict.  It is a beautiful piece of amboyna burl with figure.  Finished it off with a classic oil/wax buffed finish. This is my favorite wood to turn (smells awesome, looks great and turns easy).  All of my calls would be amboyna if it wasn't for the high price.

Jason, WOW! That is a beautiful call. I just had my son run your check out to the mailbox for those two calls. I'm sure we will  love them and if they are as good as everyone is saying I just might have to have one of them Amboyna calls. When you ship them out to me, let me know how much for one of the Amboyna's. Thanks!

To many calls? You need a back up for the backup for the backup and a backup for that backup  and what if that back up sticks or breaks then you need another backup right  :dunno: :chuckle:

That is like saying you have having to much fun.... just is not a feasible or logical question....  :chuckle:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Jason,

I just got home from Turkey hunting for the weekend and had a nice suprise waiting. Thanks for the quick delivery of the calls. My son and I love them and they sound great! If we get lucky and stick an elk using them this year we will get you some photos. Thanks again!

Thanks guys.  I tuned it to call in a 6x7 that scores 345-4/8".  The 7th point will be a 5" kicker off of the left sword.  I hope that is good enough? :chuckle:

I've got a big whale tail in the NE corner that has eluded me for three years.  This year he will either die or get his photo taken screaming in my face.

Doug,
I wish I would of known that.  I could have changed it to call in bulls with whale tales. ;)
