Is anyone seeing any bears in the Skagit.  Been up once and no sign where I went.  This weekend or at least Sunday should have had a few out wondering around.
Cut em!

I saw one in Whatcom Co.  while riding horse a couple of weekends ago but I'm sure that is not where your tags are for.  One of these days I'll get one up there.  This is the first time I've seen one but we were much quieter with only two riders and just walking.   I've seen many tracks in the last couple of years.

When I had my tag a few years ago, the last few days of April really picked up with sign and sightings. The first week of May was even better. I killed mine toward the end of the first week of May. It was a similar year with lots of snow up high and we got snow several times down low when it first opened. Hang in there and they will show up!

It's been pretty quiet out on my hikes the last two weekends. I think that will change very soon and there will be bears around every corner. :hunter:

I'm heading out Sunday. Saw only one bear pile on opening day, hoping this warm weather will bring them out. I'll report when I get back.

Dont' worry a bit Seth....we just got a new shipment of alpo in today. Funny thing happened as well. The Eggo waffle folks got wind that we were in need of some extra sugary goodness. We combined the two and have some nicely sweetened alpo all set out for our hunters this weekend. You are of course always welcome. We even have a surplus of sows and cubs if you want to tag out your second.

C-Post Sanctuary always happy to accomadate the spring hunters.
