Posting video?

How do you embed youtube videos?  I found a topic on it and tried, but I cannot seem to get it right.

In YouTube when you click the share button you must check the box for long link.  Then just paste.

I'm no expert ,but what I do is while watching the video on youtube, I copy the address from the browser and paste it into my post on here. That's the only way I could get it to work.
