How's the quality of these fish?  I'd like to try it but I hate to pull the boat over the pass for a couple of green slime rockets.

Prey for no wind, both times I tried to fish Wenachee with my boat we got blown off the lake.

We ended up going to Fish lake down the road and limiting.

Some are in decent shape and some are in really bad shape.  They arent anything compared to the salmon caught on the west side.  Earlier in the season is better but there are still some bad ones.  Smokers make even the most worn out fish tast decent though.

Curious to what you mean bad shape, Spawned out Red???  Maroon? or still silver shade to them and just exterior battle wounds?

They typically don't spawn until September.  They are colored up, though.  Keep in mind they've swam 500 miles in from the ocean.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

By the time fish get to the east side of the mountains, many of them have devoloped lots of scar tissue.  They are colored but get darker and darker the longer they are there.

Like this? Hopefully not, cause the fish is falling apart literally.
