CO sheep and goat back door results are up
« on: April 24, 2012, 09:38:36 PM »
http://wildlife.state.co.us/hunting/biggame/drawresultsandprefpoints/Pages/DrawResults_PreferencePoints.aspx

If you look up your points and your goat or sheep points show 0, that means you've drawn. This is my first year with enough points to be eligible for the goat tag, still working up my preference point total for sheep.  No luck for me this year but hopefully soon.

Heres how to tell

Draw results for Colorado Sheep and Goat are available, but not completely obvious to find.

There's long been a known "backdoor" for checking results by going in to the application system (https://www1.co.wildlifelicense.com/start.php) and looking for changes to the data displayed there on the apps you've already submitted — if the word "APP" is NOT present next to the hunt code you applied for, it means you drew.

For example, I did NOT draw my goat tag because the word APP appears:

The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.
