It is fitting that you are wearing a WSU cougar sweatshirt while posing with a dead cougar.
Nice pics. Thanks for sharing.

Haha yeah wondered who would all notice that. That cat was 8 1/2 ft long and weighed 170lbs, might of been a little more because it was resting on the tree, just happen to be packing around a scale with me. Had one canine totally worn off. Ran that lion off a whitetail buck kill, we were running a small bobcat and my dog Moose switched off when it got to that kill. Im assuming the bobcat was eating on it too and he took off on the lion. Gave em a good race and ended up treeing right next to a road, I mean basically on it, was good to get all the dogs involved on that one.

I wish it was legal for you guys too, I also wish we were able to take non-members with us but its illegal for us. I know there are a quite a few guys who would just like to come and enjoy listening to the hounds and watching em work

you're killing me Jarred! I can't wait to get Tana and Radar down there for thier tune up! They get more experience in a month at your place than most dogs get in several seasons!

Jarred, how much is a month of training and do you have any openings this spring? I have a 13 month old I would love to get into a few more races then I'll probably be able to get him in.
Bart, when do you want to try and run a bear or two in Idaho?

Hey Fred, I don't have any openings till the summer time really and I want to see how things go this spring with the new baby on the way. Obviously she is first priority and if I have dogs to train they are my obligation to train so I want to see how much time I'll still be able to spend with the baby and be able to hunt before I make too many commitments this summer. When I hunt in the summer I go out before the sun comes up and am usually home before noon. The weather is too hot here to run anymore than that, and usually by 11 it is getting pretty warm out, which can be hazardous to the dogs. I wouldn't run my dogs in it, nor would I run someone elses that I am resonsible for. I only take females too, not that your male would be growly or ill but I just have had a couple problems with other males that I've trained and I don't really want to have to deal with that again. If you have a female I'm sure we could work something out for this summer like in July or August, sorry about that if you don't have a female. I will be training Bart's Radar pup but that is a special exception since he is out of my dogs and I want to see how these pups compare to my own dogs and pups I have now. You can get ahold of me on here or call me to if you want Fred, heard good things about ya. (509) 641-2030, thanks for the interest!
