Just don't do what I did last year and ignore what I thought was a sticker and ended up being a tick that burrowed well under my skin just to the side of my man boob, well after the doctor took a biopsy plug size chunk of my skin out made the comment that I now have three nipples I have a little more respect for the power of the little monsters, only good thing is now I think I qualify for the circus side show.

Finger nail polish.....one drop on the ass and they come out quick!!! Works great on dog's!
Just so you know they can and do go completely under the skin, the doctor took pictures of the one that burrowed into me, the only thing sticking out was the legs, nothing to grab onto, I have had lots of the little buggers on me and this is the first on that's ever gone completely under, got a nice nipple scar to prove it.
had a tick get baried deep just to the right of my "boys"..scared for life ticks
One day turkey hunting in central washington = one tick at my belt line = waking up to a nasty red spot at the bite location = ER visit that day = ME on medication for lyme disease for the next 3 weeks

Surprised the Dr. never mentioned that. At least that's what all my research on the disease led to.

Basically its better to put me on the meds now, then wait and go "oops" later. To me I am thinking it is more of an infection because it doesn't look 100% like the images I have found, but there is still some similarities.
Noticed one crawling up my beard.... Bad thing was I was driving west on 410.... I damn near wrecked and think my Dad shat himself a little...... Or maybe that was me....
Went out Tuesday to put out my game camera and do some rockchuck hunting. Sprayed repellent on my boots and cuffs, so none crawled up my pantlegs, but later I found 4 crawling on my shirt and vest. None of them drew blood, but they were looking for a place! Appears to be a bumper crop of them this year.
Came home on Tuesday last week after a day in the Blues. Wednesday morning I was standing in the kitchen with my wife when I noticed something on her forehead hairline. I quickly grabbed the little bugger. She said what was it, I said oh nothing just a piece of lint, no what was it she said a little more stern. I showed her and shed punched me. Guess I bring one home every now and then. Oh well made up for it by finding a little 162" elk shed.
