My new horn hound.
« on: April 24, 2012, 08:15:09 AM »
Pick up Tikka on Sunday.  Just getting to know each other this week and getting some basic rules of the house figured out.  Here is a pic of her after my daughter wore her out in the back yard.  Gonn train her to be horn hound over the summer.

Hey Pete,

Teegan still isn't quite sure about Tikka yet, but they are starting to bond.  Tikka is having a little shock from the new environment and people, but she's getting it figured out.  She's already been chasing the quail in the yard and we've taken her to our pond and to play in the snow, maybe that's why she is pooped! :chuckle:

Thats cool

She will fit in just fine with her new family, it just takes a little time, that's all, and we do miss her that's for sure.

and I was not joking when I said I envy that pup either  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:.

I will be by to visit her when we do some riding in a few weeks after the snow melts off  :4w:

Hey Norse!

Great lookin Pup!

We pick our Male Choc lab pup up next week! Say, I am curious. I thought it may be fun to see if I can train him to find sheds. Is there really a method for doing that and is it something that you think they can be effective doing?

Just curious.
