Heard my very first wolf howl in WA

Last night.  Right on the Idaho/WA border, but it was definetly in WA.  Single long drawn out howl.

They are most fun when you are coyoting out under a tree and its two in the morning and they are about 100 yards out.    Pretty Bone chilling isn't it?

I remember that, also not very fun if you don't have a gun! If I remember right you did not have one that day.

In Idaho my son has had the acks of wolves parallel him as he walked out with his hounds late at night. Scared the $hit out of him and all his dogs, the dogs all knew it wasn't good, they stayed tight with him all the way out. That's when you change hunting areas.
