Matching set
« on: April 29, 2012, 06:17:22 PM »
I found my first matching set the other day. I'm always surprised how different the left and right sides can be on elk...

The big one is....... a BIG one!

That's a pretty wierd 7-point for an elk (I think).   I don't think that when they do get to 7-point that they usually pop the extra point between what would be 2 and 3 on a standard 6-point.   Seems like most 7's either just split off of #6 or shhot out somewhere between 5-6.

Don't they?

Cool finds!    Beautful matched set.....
