Remington 870 wingmaster
« on: April 29, 2012, 09:18:31 PM »
After 2 years waiting for a new 20 gauge I am about to pull the trigger and buy a remington 870 20 gauge.  I think I made a good decision :). How many of you have these?

I have the 870 Wingmaster 20 gauge.  Great shooting gun.  Mine is the 3" with full or mod choke.  Haven't shot it in about 6 years.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Great gun. My late grandpa always shot an nice old Wingmaster from the 70's. His was a 12Ga. trap model with a fixed full choke. Awesome shooting shotgun. Those old Remington pumps have that beautiful "chink!" sound when you close the action

The only gun I have ever sold, and I don't think I have been right since. :(   (12 gauge)

I was thinking about getting the 20 for my daughter

just about the greatest pump gun made in my opinion.  the newer ones(like i have) aren't as slick as the '70s and '80s models, but i much prefer the cut checkering over the pressed kind on the older guns.

been thinking about looking for a 20 gauge lightweight magnum to compliment my 12 gauge.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun
