Does anyone know of some trails that are livestock friendly and not covered in lots of snow this time of year trying to
Get the pack goats in shape before summer within decent driving distance from orting

How many miles? Boise Ridge just outside Enumclaw (7miles in, 14 round trip, 1800 feet elevation gain) should be snow-free by now. Hancock wants $75 for your adventure.

Mileage doesn't matter the more elevation gain the better but I'm not giving Hancock anymore money already spent 350 on the kapowsin permit they have a livestock area I am going to try out but just looking for some more trails that I can take someone without a permit required. I was up at buck creek up 410 past greenwater this weekend and there wasn't to much snow but wasn't sure I'm guessing there shouldn't be to many restrictions on the goats they don't impact the land anymore than a deer

You might want to check, but my friend has the vehicle permit and he claims he can use it in the walk-in areas. If that's true, you wouldn't need to pay the $75 fee.
