New member looking to learn and intro
« on: April 30, 2012, 03:42:51 PM »
Hello everyone.  My name is Jared and I wanted to tell you a little about myself and why I became a member.  I first wanna say "Thank you" for all the good info on here. After strolling the forum for a couple weeks it seems like a really close group of friends.  I just recently moved to Shelton and when I was making a trip to fish the satsop in November I realized how many people hunted in this area.  With that being said I have never hunted before in my 28 years but have always had an intrest in it.  I enjoy being outdoors and away from concrete. I am scheduled to begin my hunters education class in June. I am currently doing the online class just to learn more but there isn't an open range eval till September in this area is why I am doing traditional class in June.  I would like to get into hunting every thing I can but for now I just wanna learn dear and grow from there. Also I will be hunting modern rifle but would like to learn to hunt bow as well.  So if there is anyone close to my area or is planning on hunting this area and wouldn't mind having a greenhorn hunting partner I would like to meet up.  Or I will take any advise as to were to get started or tips on a better hunting experience.  Thanks again for all help and good luck out there.
