Well - got a call from Tech, seems as if all checks out on HDS system, they couldn't reduplicate the problem either.  Were going to run it tomorrow on American Lake to see if it does it.  Not O2 sensor or anything electronic as of right now.  Could be thermostat or one that is going bad anyhow.  Hoping the fuel was the issue, crossed fingers and toes...

oh and just as a heads up for you most of that information i got from the honda marine web site. they have a manuals section and it basically with a little reading gives you all the possible reasons the alarm can go off!

Well that isn't terrible news !! I guess the sea trials will tell if your problem is solved or not, I'm hoping it was as simple as the fuel [smg id=2782]

I learned I need a new water pump but thats an easy fix !!
