What do you shoot for carp?

Just curious what others like!  :dunno: i have tried recurve, and compound with and without, and liked compound without sights personally

Yeah I like a compound to without sights ..but I still use my recurve time to time just because I done it that way as a kid ...I also like standing still in shallow water and waiting for them to pass by ...if they are spawning really well its a blast ... :tup:

 I shoot a recurve , Hoyt compound with a pin , Oneida (s) with and with out !

You forgot one option. Spear, after tiring of shooting them with a bow I made a few spears. Now thats a challenge.

All my fishing bows are shot instinctive with no sights. I have used a lot of setups like the hybrid oneidas and recurves. I still like a compound that can be snap shot. All my client bows are compounds as well.

Is a 12 gauge legal?  As that would be my first choice.

:yeah: spawners are a lot of fun! :IBCOOL:  i love sneaking up on them in the thick weeds and thumping them at 2 ft. :archery_smiley: haha not too hard to hit them at that range

recurve for me

but sometimes i wish i had a compound. oh well makes for more of a challenge and work out ...

Always been compound for me, this year I will have both recurve and my compound. I never use sights either, to be honest I don't know how sights could help
