I'd love to find out the right or best way to photo them.  I've had poor success.

Here is a little video of the lightning. I tried to slow it down a little at the end


Cool video !! When I lived in Wisconsin I'd grab a big glass of iced tea and a lawn chair and sit on the porch and just watch the show. The smell of a storm was like nothing else !!

Us too, we would drive out to one of my grandfather's alfalfa fields and watch the storms roll in.

what you want to do is get up in very tall tree or on a pole of somekind and wait to get a close-up lightning shot   :chuckle:
