Bear scouting ?
« on: May 03, 2012, 10:36:55 AM »
Hey, I was out scouting my planned hunting spot, and I found an old dead tree that was all torn up by a bear looking for food. I didn't take a picture, but I'd say the torn up spot was from about 5' to abot 8'. Is this a monster bear, did he climb the tree to get that high, or can they just reach this far?

I'll probably take the boy up there this weekend. He's a little young for any really good scouting, but hey... family time > productive scouting missions.
