Another great time
A great group of people, TOO much good food ( I back put on the 6 pounds I lost earlier
) Russ I would be careful about leaving your wife alone,,those cup cake were killer
, Cory,, what can I say about that cobbler
The bow shooting was proof that we have some damn good shots on this site
Nice shooting guys.. The talk around the campfire was a blast. Between the "Berry Juice" and the "Apple Pie" (sorry it was so hard to get Lady Nutcracker(Becky) to share
Sorry guys,,next year she'll know better
) the stories were getting better and better,,even though nothing and I mean nothing Becky said about me was true ( except how much of a great person I am
).. By the way,, did someone ever get that arrow out of Quick Draws ear

yahh it was a good time! i think me and the apple pie didnt get along, as i didnt drink much of it but i sure had a headache this morning. it was really cool of the guy "sorry i cant remember his name" that brought all the traditional bows for everyone to shoot and loose his arrows. everyone had a great time shooting them especially the women. it was a honor and a pleasure to meet everyone, and will be looking forward to the next year one!

Me and the girls had a friggin blast. Thanks so much Rasbo and Gladys for putting this on. It was great to meet up with all of you. Some of you i knew, some I didn't. Fillthefreezer, sorry I couldn't hang later but I realize that i cant play with the young ones anymore. I had to tap out at 3:30am. Makes me feel old though when Woodman outlasts me. Flinger, hows the battle wound? Again, Jim and Gladys, thank you. Oh, I didn't see any funnel anywhere near Rasbo

well another hunt- WA BBQ is over.I and my wife had an awesome time.I only wish I had enough time to sit with each of you and really get to know the new folks to the BBQ.what time I did get was awesome, its always good to see like minded folks coming together, all that being said what a frigging blast.did I say there was food here?we had so much good food,WOW.Russ Mc-Mcdonadls wife is the queen of cupcakes.anyone can slap a cupcake together. But she went so far as to,make the cake mix in camo, and frost it that way then on top of that, made chocolate animals on top of the icing..Cory made his awesome peach cobble again, and i got to meet his wife this year,Cory glad to hear you are doing well.
captain silver, and piaonoman, had some great conversation with you guys would love to spend some time around a fire and talk some more.got to see ksblazer shoot a traditional bow for his first time, and K357 also.that was awesome.we had a raffle and an auction this year..I huge thank you to Bloodhound,The company he works for Anglers Marine donated several fishing rods, reels and some bass boats, that's right,I said bass boats..K357 won both of them...woodman donated 8,$25.00 gift certificates from cabela's.elite1 donated 4 tables he made out of aluminum, and his awesome wife made another awesome quilt which sold for 100.00 as an auction item..we had hats donated ,Bearmanrick of RnR calls always has come through with calls,he is a good man and really attributes to these functions and children..camo cloth, various other item by folks to many to list, but thank for all them donations.we made 350.00 for the next catfish gig,whoopee.....if I left anyone out please dont be mad,we appreciate everyone...
Now some news around the fire pit..I want everyone to know you can feel safe now, myself and cementfinisher solved all the world problems,,,In one sitting...
Ray The first owner of the site brought many trad bows for folks to shoot, and his cute Lil daughter, she and my grandaughters tore the place up having a blast.Hunterman and Becky brought some homemade berry spirits that was great around the pit.. a bottle of apple pie auctioned off for 40.00 bucks, kenzmad took that.after a little prodding he brought that to the pit.Bad juju,he should have read the instructions, once the cap comes off it wont fit back on till its empty. That's a proven medical fact, and proven true..Woodman felt it was necessary to share a pull with his right hand and left hand,Hic up...good times forsure. I was able to demonstrate my skills with a longbow, quicksdraw{huntermans daughter} let me shoot an apple off her head, pics to follow. :chuckle:all the children were a blast to have around,Kenzmad daughter Sierra gave me a big jar of jelly beans ,and she made sure to let me know if anyone touched them,lol.....I'm leaving out so much I know...It takes a lot of time and work to put this on,and its a pleasure to do so.Thanks for the help from soooo many folks.K357, Becky, Charlene, Joy and my wife...

Thanks again for the invite and look forward to the next event.
The food was great and it was nice to put a face to the members handle on this forum. Had fun shooting the bow and tossing horseshoes. I'll have to bring my tent next time. So I can hang out for the nightime campfire.

I have to agree with everything that has been said here. Jim, you and Gladys are a class act and a real benefit to this hunting site. You two give your all to make a success out of this, and that it was. It was truly a pleasure to see everyone and I look forward to next year.
