Went out today with my dad and my boy.  We landed 20 or so in a couple hours fishing.  I thought it was pretty slow but they were running a tournament today out of hood river so there were a lot of boats on the water.

I love these warm rainy days for bass. But yeah, it is nice to be out in the sun. I guess around here we get what we get.

The few we got were mostly just gold colored, the people around us all got smallys that had the black stripes like yours.

was at the bass tourney on banks this weekend and did ok. i pulled my limit plus every day but the fishing was slow. all the local pros were having trouble. average bag was 12 pounds for five fish. wish it would have been a little more active but all in all a great time.

Good job! I have a friend that fished that tourney and he said it was not the best, by any stretch. I have a 3 day weekend planned for over there next weekend. Hope it picks up a bit. Looking like some good wind will be blowing next Saturday. Bummer.

I just got back from 9 days of fishing on Banks. The lake was high when we arrived, then they dropped it like crazy then back up 4 to 5 inches before we left. Bass fishing was off and on but some days were very good with some big smallies and largemouth. The Walleye fishing was insane. More big fish (25in to 29in) than ever before, caught lots of fish on crank baits in very shallow water (4 to 6 feet), right in with the bass. I think it was cause we had a lot of winds that pushed the bait fish in shallow. The trolling for Walleye was also very good but most of them we caught trolling were from 18 to 22in. in 10 to 16 feet.

Thanks for the info! Good to hear. Never caught a walleye but am hoping to get into a few on accident.
