Sorry for your loss.  The lord will cherish her now.  My grandma also ww2 vet.  Great ladies of their time that we should never forget!

Thank you everyone...

One of my earliest and most vivid memories is my mom shooting a buck.  The deer was running dead away from her down a skid road, about 75 yards away.... she threw up her Remington 760 in .300 Savage and broke its neck.  One shot, dead right there deer.... 

She always said that the reason I am so fanatical about the outdoors and hunting is because she went hunting while pregnant with me.

I know how you feel. I lost my mother awhile back. She was only 45. I am sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.
