Went out Tuesday to put out my game camera and do some rockchuck hunting.  Sprayed repellent on my boots and cuffs, so none crawled up my pantlegs, but later I found 4 crawling on my shirt and vest.  None of them drew blood, but they were looking for a place! Appears to be a bumper crop of them this year.  :yike:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

Came home on Tuesday last week after a day in the Blues. Wednesday morning I was standing in the kitchen with my wife when I noticed something on her forehead hairline. I quickly grabbed the little bugger. She said what was it, I said oh nothing just a piece of lint, no what was it she said a little more stern. I showed her and shed punched me. Guess I bring one home every now and then.  :chuckle: :chuckle: Oh well made up for it by finding a little 162" elk shed.

I'm not necessarily sure she thinks the elk shed was worth it! :chuckle:

Found my first shed last week, along with 5 ticks.  Two had bored into my skin.  One on my right shoulder, the other left mid-back.  Never had a problem with ticks before (I'm a coastie...).  Got em out with isopropol alcohol and tweezers.  More DEET next turkey season!
