Sounds like a great setup, should shoot really good, I like that scope a lot too.

I have same rifle, different scope.  Straight out of the box the thing shot perfect.  You will love it!  Happy early Birthday  :rockin:

I have the same setup except with the wood stock.  Such a nice shooting rifle.  Good luck with that rifle.

Oh man was that fun. Just got back from the range! Shoulders a bit sore!!  :P First cold bore shot it was on the paper, worked it in from there at 100 and then out to 200 zeroed. My last three shots were all within 1 inch. Not bad for factory Hornady 150 grain ammo.

How many times need it be said:

Any rifles a good gift to ones self but I HATE Tikka's! :puke: I also HATE the fact they shoot so well. I have really tried to buy one, I've had a Tikka .300 WSM in my hand twice at the local gun shop and just couldn't do it. I have four friends that own them and they shoot like a house of fire! Remington would jam my face on the wall of shame if I sold them out and pulled the trigger on a Tikka. ;) Maybe one of these days I can work past it.
