I'm not sure how the cats in sprague did when they killed off the water a few years ago to plant trout? But I did get down to the snake (boyer park) just before I moved away to go after pikeminnows and caught a crapload of catfish using chicken liver. I tossed them all back so they should be bigger now. The guys at the dock were fishing for them and chewed me out for not keeping them. lol

he caught them that year they killed it... cats are tough to kill off... plus WDFW took 100 big cats and put them in a pond and released them back into the lake after the kill off.
