Especially in the mainstream media, Justice Ginsburg’s comments—made during an Egyptian television interview on Jan. 30, 2012—were generally treated in isolation or ignored. For most Americans it was just a sound bite.  A fleeting controversy. A mere blip.

Thats because the George Soros machine controls the mainstream media, and one more reason why those of us interested in keeping this country great should not be getting our news from CNN, MSNBC, Media Matters, NBC, NPR, New York Times, Washington Post, Huffington Post to name a few. :twocents:

:yeah:   I do not watch any major network news except occasionally fox.

I get most of my news off the internet.

I have been told there are some good satellite radio news stations, but don't have satellite radio.

“I would not look to the U.S. Constitution, if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012. I might look at the Constitution of South Africa … a fundamental instrument of government that embraced basic human rights …”  -Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Jan. 30, 2012.

" For most Americans it was just a sound bite."

As I see it, that is the real problem: apathy and ignorance of the populace. Even if the MSM media put this on the front pages and headline news, it wouldn't gain traction with the majority.  There are lots and lots of Americans that care more about their daily lattes and their favorite sports teams than the Constitution.  Unfortunately, many of them vote.
