I see that the office of the Commissioner of Public Lands is up for re-election this year. Do we know anyone acceptable running for this slot?

I would volunteer, but I do not have the required Masters in Stupidity to be a state employee. Also, even though my closet is full of skeletons.. none of them are the right ones to get elected to any kind of office with....

The main problem is GOOD people won't run because they have businesses or family obligations that interfere... What kind of person wants to risk all that they have built up to run for public office? Answer? Not normally our kind... We had better start changing that opinion tho if we want to get people like us into positions like this one.

For those of you that don't know, the Commish of Public Lands is essentially the Director of DNR.
