in need of update
« on: May 19, 2012, 05:39:20 PM »
The hunting regs say that late archery deer for gmu 505 over laps with late muzzy for deer in the same area.(Page 20) Gmu 505(mossyrock) is not listed as a open unit for late muzzy deer. What is up with that? Why is it every time I look at the regs anymore all I find is small errors that haven't been fixed. Its not listed on the corrections page.Anyone got an idea ?

Call the local WDFW office?????  Olympia???   :dunno: :dunno:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

I would suggest you report it, they may not realize the mistake yet.

I emailed a few people and departments with questions about changes that took place this year, why no changes in the deer section came up in red like all other changes and a couple other similar questions and in the 18 days since I received 1 auto answer response and that was it. :bash: When I went through the MH program  and testing the guys for that program were great about getting back to me.I didnt put in for any permits this year (except for the multi tags ) and would of plus raffle but after this long without responses from the state they just kissed my application money good buy.

505 is open for muzzleloader ELK season from Nov 31 to Dec 8. So there is an overlap with archery and muzzleloader, just that it's elk and not deer that's open for muzzleloader.

Not arguing if it is open or closed just confused especially if its been this way for more than one year.On the bottom left of page 20 under archery deer it states" Late archery deer overlaps late muzzleloader deer in gmu's 410,654,454,505,601,652,666,667. That is where my frustration comes from. Dont even see any permit muzzy deer hunts for the same time in 505. I have bow hunted the late archery season for elk in there a few times and know the elk seasons over lap but why does it say deer over laps when it doesnt?

It is odd that it appears to have been incorrect for several years.

Yes it's obviously incorrect. If they would just change it to read "overlaps late muzzleloader deer and/or elk season" it would be correct.

Did you guys notice that none of the changes in the deer section were in red like the rest of the regs?
