Would you shoot this 2 pt?
« on: May 16, 2012, 03:11:48 PM »
Or 4 pt.....depending on your counting. You have to get past the jaw dropper in the beginning but the 2nd deer is very different.

I'd shoot it just to get it out of the gene pool.

I have seen some huge 2 pt. Mulies in Eastern WA, but that white-tail takes the cake, that is a monster.  I would shoot it for sure if it were legal in the area I was hunting.

Sometimes I really do wonder if we aren't seeing more really big two points (I've seen a few huge two-point mulies and some sheds) because we're putting selective pressure on the multi-point bucks and giving two-points a survival advantage... not saying we should necessarily make any changes but it's interesting food for thought.

For sure, I like bucks with character more so than bucks with symmetry or inches.  Makes them more one of a kind in my opinion.  Cool buck!
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

Oh for sure, seems like I see more and more 2points down in the breaks every year. Probably the reason the wdfw now offers a 2x2 mulie draw for the 142 unit.
